Clueless Joe Has To Go

It has been months since I have written a column for our site, but circumstances are now so dire that I must speak out:

Joe Biden’s incompetence is so severe that he is endangering the lives of thousands of Americans and of even more thousands of America’s allies in Afghanistan. It is therefore absolutely vital that leaders of both parties at all levels put politics side and, for the good of our country, demand his resignation.

If Biden refuses to resign, his cabinet must invoke the 25th Amendment and have him declared officially incompetent and unfit to serve.

If those Democrats choose to put their partisan interests ahead of the lives of American citizens and allies, then Congress must impeach and remove him from office.

Here’s why this is so imperative:

As I write this, thousands of Americans are trapped under Taliban control in Afghanistan. These terrorists have demanded that America fully withdraw by August 31st.

In response, President Biden “requested” that the Taliban grant the United States of America an extension of that deadline.

Let that sink in for a moment: The President of the most powerful nation in the history of the human race responded to a demand from a 7th-century terrorist organization by respectfully requesting that they allow us to rescue our own citizens from their violence – and then submitted when they said no.

In what universe does a President of the United States not tell that terrorist organization that we will stay as long as we need to secure the safety of our citizens and allies and that any attempt to stop us will result in a response of Fire and Fury so severe that thousands of these terrorists will get to meet their 72 virgins much sooner than they ever thought?

Well, incredibly, the answer is in this universe where this president allowed himself to be bullied by a bunch of terrorist primates into abandoning thousands of our countrymen and allies to their wrath.

That. Is. Unacceptable.

England and France have sent in their military troops to get their people to the airfield, where they can be evacuated. Clueless Joe not only hasn’t done the same, but there are reports of his administration actually hindering efforts by private organizations and employers to do so.

Instead, our Department of Defense has issued “advisories” to Americans in Afghanistan that they will be evacuated if they can make their way to the airfield but that America cannot guarantee their safety.

This abandonment of American citizens is scandalous and utterly unacceptable.

Meanwhile, under Biden’s orders, the US military gave literally billions of dollars of high-tech weapons to the Taliban – the same organization that gave aid and comfort to the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks on our country. Biden could have had plans in place for our military to take those weapons with them or at least to destroy them. But Clueless Joe chose instead to hand those weapons on a sliver platter to an Islamofascist terrorist group that has already helped wage war directly on our country.

You simply cannot make this stuff up.

Biden argues that it’s unfair to say he’s been weak because he has stood up to the Taliban – by getting a letter from a United Nations committee saying that if the Taliban don’t conform to “international norms,” they won’t be welcomed into the “community of nations.”

Well, whatever was I thinking?

Biden’s incompetence is so obvious, alarming, and dangerous that, for the first time in history, the British Parliament voted to condemn the President of the United States for his handling of this crisis – a crisis that Biden personally created by disregarding the advice of his entire national security staff and insisting that the withdrawal of Afghanistan happen immediately with no plan – a crisis of Joe Biden’s making that has endangered British citizens too, as their Parliament clearly recognized.

To say that Joe Biden is incompetent is like saying that Usain Bolt is “quick.”

The truth is that Joe Biden has always been incompetent:

Obama-Biden’s Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, wrote in his memoirs that Biden has “been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”

But in addition to Biden’s natural lifelong state of incompetence, he clearly now is suffering from dementia:

Why else has he proven incapable of completing an unscripted coherent sentence?

Why else did his campaign staff hide him in the basement for the entire 2020 campaign and clear his schedule for a week to prepare for each debate against Donald Trump, who is maybe the worst presidential debater in history?

Why else has Biden had fewer press conferences and taken fewer questions than any other president in the modern era from a sycophantic “news” media who only give him softball questions anyway?

If this weren’t so serious, it would hilarious. But it is serious – deadly serious: The combination of the incompetence and dementia of the President of the United States is getting Americans and our allies killed.

So, like I said at the start of this article, it is time for a universal demand that Clueless Joe resign.

If he doesn’t, then it is time to invoke the 25th Amendment because, for the first time in American history, we have a president who very literally lacks the capacity to govern. The Democrats know it too, which is why they keep Clueless Joe away from the public.

If the Democrats refuse to do so because they care more about their partisan interests than the lives of the Americans their president is getting killed, then Congress must stand up for those endangered American citizens and allies by filing articles of impeachment. If the majority Democrats won’t do it, then the Republicans must do so and demand a hearing and a vote.*

This is not about politics. This is about rectifying an incredibly dangerous situation that threatens American lives. The stakes are simply too high to allow an arrogant brain-addled moron, who was already incompetent when he was in his prime, to continue to occupy the most powerful office in our country and the world and continue to get Americans killed.

* I realize that incompetence is not listed in the Constitution as an impeachable offense, but the Democrats have established the precedent that an impeachable offense is anything that a majority of the House says it is. So the real question is whether the same Democrat-controlled House of Representatives that twice impeached a president for governing while Republican considers abject malfeasance that jeopardizes the lives of thousands of Americans and allies also to be an impeachable offense.
